Why were we on the programme?
We’re very user-led – we try to be inclusive by engaging the audience in the journey on a project, as early on as possible – e.g. followers social media, host events, speak to specialists, to engage different artists. In addition to the performative element of our work we always seek to create / initiate some kind of legacy / community around the production to live on beyond the production. Creative Workforce for the Future Inclusion Programme is giving us an opportunity to explore how to put in place more of a framework to support all of the practical work we do.
