Boomsatsuma

boomsatsuma was created in 2011 to deliver the highest quality arts and creative opportunities for children and young people in the West of England. Since then we have delivered projects to over 2000 children and young people and have raised investment of more than £500,000 from funders including Arts Council England, Children in Need, Quartet Community Foundation, Youth Music, and the Creative Employment Programme.

We are at the forefront of raising the quality of work with, for and by children and young people, and pride themselves on developing new models of cultural engagement for children and young people.

Why were we on the programme?

At boomsatsuma it is crucial that we support our young people to have voices and platforms. We’re looking forward to being part of the Creative Workforce for the Future’s Inclusion Programme to support us to grow as innovatively as possible and do it in the right way. For example, the workshops will help to create an evidence base and practical tools we can take back to implement change in the organisation.
